GAC 2015 Kickoff

To kick off our new year, the GAC (Gauteng Airsoft Club) has some great news that we thought we should share with anyone and everyone who plays airsoft.

We have started an awesome milsim series that is run by veteran players that brings a real military feel to a weekend morning. We have successfully hosted our first training and game at Black Ops. Thanks to Andre for letting us use his field to kick off our milsim series.

Safety is our top priority and it shows. Nearly all the provinces in South Africa has now adopted the GAC rules. And on that note, safety awareness has grown and the use of death rags and barrel socks have increased considerably.

We have had some great exposure for the sport. An article was published in the Beeld and we had an interview on kyknet. We had positive feedback and sure to see some new faces throughout the year.

To end it off we just want to thank chairman Bjorn Goosen for all his efforts! Rescuing people who have been stopped by police and his dedication to the sport. Thank you to all the GAC members who have worked hard in order for all of these things to become reality and for growing the sport.

If you have any questions or want to become a member of the GAC, please feel free to contact me or get us on Facebook.
